About Offpill

People facing health conditions have questions that are hard to resolve through healthcare alone: What should I expect in the first few weeks? How did others deal with this? What should I ask my doctor? What happens after the initial phase?

Doctors provide diagnosis and treatment. Offpill provides the other half — practical, lived experience from people who have been where you are. One person’s experience becomes another person’s answer, and over time those answers become a shared body of patient knowledge.

We’re starting with obesity and metabolic health — weight management journeys, GLP-1 treatment, type 2 diabetes, PCOS, thyroid conditions and fatty liver — and expanding carefully from there.

Our principles

People before engagement

Meaningful help matters more than time spent on the site.

Lived experience matters

Patient experiences are valuable — but they are not universal medical truth, and we label them as what they are.

Safety over growth

No growth mechanism is worth compromising a member's wellbeing.

Trust is infrastructure

Privacy, transparent moderation and honest attribution are foundations, not features.

Open knowledge, protected identity

Public knowledge should not require exposing personal identity. Offpill is pseudonymous by design.

No treatment ideology

We support informed choices. We never glorify starting, stopping or switching medication.

Frequently asked questions

What is Offpill?

Offpill is a peer knowledge network where people navigating health journeys — starting with weight management, GLP-1 treatment and metabolic health — share questions and lived experiences, so the next person doesn't have to start from zero.

Is Offpill medical advice?

No. Offpill content is lived experience and general information, clearly labeled. It is not medical advice and never a substitute for a qualified clinician. Never start, stop or change medication based on what you read here.

Is Offpill against medication?

No. Despite the name, Offpill is not anti-medication and not a withdrawal service. We support informed participation in your own care, whatever treatment path you and your doctor choose.

Do I have to share my diagnosis or real name?

No. Offpill is pseudonymous by design. You never have to disclose your real name, diagnosis, medication history or any personal details to read or participate.

How is content kept trustworthy?

Every contribution is labeled as personal experience, general information or editorial content; editorial guides carry their clinical review status; dangerous advice is moderated with human accountability; and seeded example content is visibly badged, never passed off as organic activity.

Who’s behind Offpill

Offpill is built in India by the team behind Steer Club, a doctor-led GLP-1 care program. We keep that relationship disclosed because trust is infrastructure: community experiences stay independent, no brand — ours included — influences moderation or ranking, and where clinical care comes up we list Steer Club alongside other options in our care & support directory.
